Moog EC1611 Steering Center Link Replacement

The Moog EC1611 is a direct-fit replacement steering center link (also known as a relay rod or drag link) engineered to restore precise steering control and eliminate the looseness and wandering associated with worn OEM components. Designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, this center link is a key component of conventional recirculating-ball steering systems.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction — manufactured to original equipment specifications for a direct, no-modification-required fit
• High-strength steel — durable materials provide long-lasting performance and resist wear under demanding road conditions
• Restores steering precision — eliminates steering play, wander, and shimmy caused by a worn or damaged center link
• Problem-solving design — Moog's engineering improvements address known OE weaknesses for extended service life
• Easy installation — designed for straightforward removal and replacement, minimizing shop time

The center link (relay rod) is a critical steering component that connects the pitman arm to the idler arm and transfers steering input to both front wheels simultaneously. A worn center link can cause erratic steering, uneven tire wear, and compromised vehicle control. The Moog EC1611 provides a reliable, long-lasting solution trusted by professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts alike.
