Stabilus 2A-746457 LIFT-O-MAT Gas Spring

The Stabilus 2A-746457 is a gas spring from Stabilus's renowned LIFT-O-MAT product family — the industry-standard solution for controlled lifting, lowering, and counterbalancing of panels, doors, hoods, and lids. Stabilus gas springs are filled with compressed nitrogen gas, which acts against a piston rod to generate a consistent extension force, making it easier to operate heavy or awkward access panels with minimal effort.

Key Features:

• Nitrogen-charged compression gas spring for smooth, controlled extension and retraction
• Provides optimal counterbalancing force to assist with opening and holding panels, doors, or covers in position
• Engineered for defined speed profile and outstanding damping characteristics
• Compact, durable construction suitable for a wide range of industrial and automotive applications
• Designed for installation with piston rod oriented downward for optimum seal lubrication and longevity
• Compatible with Stabilus standard end fittings and mounting hardware
• Manufactured by Stabilus, a global leader in gas spring and motion control technology

Stabilus gas springs are trusted across automotive, industrial, marine, RV, and furniture applications worldwide. The 2A-746457 is a direct-replacement gas spring engineered to restore proper lift assist and controlled motion to its intended application. For best results, install with the piston rod pointing downward unless the unit was specifically designed for orientation-independent mounting.
