Four Seasons 39704 A/C Expansion Valve TXV Replacement

The Four Seasons 39704 is a replacement automotive air conditioning expansion valve, also known as a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV). This precision component regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator core, maintaining the correct pressure drop needed to maximize cooling efficiency and protect the A/C compressor from liquid refrigerant slugging.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet or exceed OEM fit, form, and function requirements
• Calibrated to the specific tonnage, superheat, and maximum operating pressure (MOP) of the target application
• Manufactured by Four Seasons, part of the Standard Motor Products (SMP) Temperature Control Division — the largest aftermarket mobile climate control parts supplier in the industry
• Tested, validated, and inspected before shipment to ensure long-lasting, trouble-free performance
• Application-specific design ensures proper refrigerant metering for optimum cabin comfort

Four Seasons expansion valves are backed by decades of mobile A/C engineering expertise. Replacing a faulty or failed TXV with a properly calibrated unit restores system efficiency, prevents compressor damage, and returns consistent cold airflow to the cabin.
