Wells 7A1008 Starter Bushing

The Wells 7A1008 is a replacement starter bushing engineered to restore proper alignment and support to the starter motor shaft. The starter bushing acts as a precision guide bearing, maintaining concentricity between the starter drive shaft and its housing bore to ensure smooth, reliable engagement with the flywheel ring gear during every start cycle.

Worn or damaged starter bushings can cause excessive play in the starter shaft, leading to noisy operation, premature starter wear, and unreliable engine cranking. Replacing the bushing restores proper shaft support and extends the service life of the starter assembly.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications in form, fit, and function
• Precision-machined for accurate shaft alignment and minimal runout
