Product Details

The Auto Transmiss Parts CA-8460 is a replacement accelerator cable designed to restore proper throttle response and pedal feel. The accelerator cable connects the throttle pedal to the throttle body or carburetor, transmitting driver input to control engine speed. Over time, these cables can stretch, fray, or bind, resulting in sluggish acceleration or erratic throttle behavior — making timely replacement essential for safe, reliable vehicle operation.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement accelerator (throttle) cable
  • Engineered to match original equipment specifications for proper fit and function
  • Durable construction designed to resist stretching, fraying, and corrosion
  • Smooth inner liner for consistent, low-friction cable travel
  • Restores proper throttle pedal feel and engine response

The CA-8460 accelerator cable from Auto Transmiss Parts is built to meet or exceed OEM standards, providing a dependable, long-lasting replacement for worn or damaged throttle cables.

Great item. Thanks

Great experience. Competitive price.

Great overall experience and fast shipping. Thank you.

The experience was good.

Fast, fast, fast. No issues. No worries.

I was charged $9.99 for shipping even though the ad stated free shipping...i was refunded $9.99 BUT i still paid tax on that $9.99 that i was not refunded. Other than that everything was all good...the megan racing muffler looks and sounds great!!! I wanted a muffler that wasnt obnoxiously loud but louder than stock and thats exactly what i got....AND the construction of the muffler is definitely good quality!!
