Roadmaster 98700 New Car Kit for InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System

The Roadmaster 98700 New Car Kit is designed for InvisiBrake (RM-8700) owners who are transferring their supplemental braking system to a new towed vehicle. Rather than purchasing an entirely new InvisiBrake system, this kit provides all the vehicle-side hardware and wiring components needed for a fresh installation in a different tow vehicle — saving significant cost.

When transferring your InvisiBrake, the main control box, air cylinder, and cable assembly can move with you to the new vehicle. However, Roadmaster recommends replacing the wiring, vacuum lines, vacuum tees, vacuum check valves, fuse holders, breakaway assembly, and associated hardware rather than removing them from the old vehicle. This kit supplies all of those components in their original lengths and sizes to ensure a proper fit in your new tow vehicle.

• Pulley and cable anchor bracket
• Brake pedal clamp with mounting nuts and bolts
• Monitor wire patch cord
• Four-way wiring harness
• Breakaway switch, pin, and ring
• Breakaway power and ground wires
• Vacuum check valves (3/8" and 1/2")
• Vacuum line tees (3/8" and 1/2")
• Four-wire flat harness for towed vehicle lighting
• In-line fuse holder with 20-amp fuse
• Hardware and installation instructions

Important Notes:

• Requires InvisiBrake air cylinder (RM-452109-10), InvisiBrake cable assembly (RM-452109), and 1/4" check valve — all sold separately
• Compatible with Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System (RM-8700) only
• A check valve is required on the brake booster air line during installation
