Roadmaster 8700 InvisiBrake Hidden Supplemental Braking System with Breakaway

The Roadmaster 8700 InvisiBrake is a fully-automatic, permanently installed supplemental braking system designed for flat towing behind a motorhome. Unlike portable braking units, the InvisiBrake is hidden inside the towed vehicle and operates entirely on its own — no switches to flip, no setup steps to remember, and nothing to install or remove each trip. Simply plug in the umbilical cord as you normally would, and the system is ready to go.

InvisiBrake uses the towed vehicle's existing electrical harness to detect braking. The same signal that illuminates the brake lights on your towed vehicle also triggers InvisiBrake to apply the brakes — providing smooth, proportional stopping power every time the motorhome slows down. Unlike most supplemental brake systems that work on a dead brake pedal, InvisiBrake energizes the power brakes so that the towed vehicle has the same braking performance while in tow as it does while being driven normally.
