Danfoss 067L5855 TR6 Thermostatic Expansion Valve R22 Orifice 3 Adjustable TXV

The Danfoss 067L5855 is a TR6 series thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for ducted split and light commercial air conditioning systems using R22 refrigerant. With a rated capacity of 3.3 TR (11.4 kW) and an orifice size of No. 3, this valve delivers precise refrigerant metering to maximize system efficiency and evaporator performance.

Key Features:

• Refrigerant: R22 (also compatible with R407C)
• Rated Capacity: 3.3 TR / 11.4 kW
• Orifice Size: No. 3
• Connections: 3/8 in. inlet × 1/2 in. outlet × 1/4 in. external equalizer (ODF flare)
• Operating Temperature Range: 14°F to 59°F (–10°C to +15°C)
• Adjustable Superheat: External superheat adjustment spindle for field tuning
• Balanced Port Design: Minimizes the influence of varying condensing pressures for stable operation
• Body Material: Hot-pressed brass with stainless steel power element, capillary tube, and sensing bulb
• Hermetic Design: Laser-welded power element for long service life, high pressure tolerance, and corrosion resistance
• Straightway Configuration: Standard inline flow direction
• Factory Static Superheat: 4 K / 7.2°F

The TR6's laser-welded, hermetically sealed power element ensures exceptional durability and leak-free operation in demanding HVAC environments. The adjustable superheat spindle allows field technicians to fine-tune system performance during installation or service without replacing components. This valve is well-suited for residential and light commercial A/C systems where accurate refrigerant flow control is critical to system efficiency and longevity.
