Dorman 601-720 Active Grille Shutter Actuator

The Dorman 601-720 is a replacement active grille shutter actuator designed to restore proper operation to your vehicle's active grille shutter system. This actuator serves as the motorized driver that opens and closes the grille shutter vanes in response to engine temperature and vehicle speed, helping maintain optimal aerodynamics and engine cooling.

Active grille shutter systems improve fuel economy by closing the shutter vanes at highway speeds to reduce aerodynamic drag, and open them at lower speeds or when the engine requires additional airflow for cooling. A failed actuator can trigger warning lights, cause the shutters to default to a fixed position, and reduce overall system efficiency.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for the original equipment shutter actuator
• Engineered to match OE fit, form, and function
• Factory-style electrical connector for plug-and-play installation
• Thoroughly tested to ensure reliable performance and proper shutter operation
• Cost-effective alternative to dealership replacement
• Manufactured by Dorman, a trusted name in OE-quality aftermarket parts

Dorman's 601-720 actuator is built to OE quality standards, allowing repair professionals and DIY enthusiasts to restore active grille shutter function without the expense of a dealer visit.
