The CTE Carbon CTE-CCP-540CF is an OE CCB (Carbon Ceramic Brake) replacement disc engineered as a next-generation upgrade over factory-installed carbon ceramic brake systems. Constructed from T700-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre woven into a solid 1-piece 3D matrix, this disc delivers superior strength and durability compared to the T300-grade chopped (short) carbon fibre used in most OEM and competing aftermarket applications.

CTE Carbon's proprietary manufacturing process — including Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) and Reactive Melt Infiltration (RMI) Siliconization — transforms a carbon/carbon preform into a Carbon/Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) composite, the same material technology derived from commercial and military aerospace applications.

Important: Carbon ceramic brakes must be used exclusively with CCB-compatible (carbon ceramic) brake pads. This disc is designed for use with large racing calipers — typically all OEM/aftermarket 6-piston calipers and select 4-piston calipers with a minimum 30mm OEM disc thickness.
