CTE Carbon CTE-CCM-29028 Carbon Ceramic Matrix Brake Disc with Custom Bell

The CTE Carbon CTE-CCM-29028 is a universal/custom-fit Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake disc with a custom-fabricated bell, built for high-performance street and track applications. This is a made-to-order product — your required PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) and offset must be provided at the time of ordering so CTE can manufacture the bell to your exact specifications.

CTE Carbon Composites constructs their CCM discs from a fully three-dimensional matrix of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Carbon (CFRC), diamond-cut to exacting tolerances using T700-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre sourced from Toray Japan. T700 grade offers approximately 40% greater tensile strength than the T300-grade fibre used by most competitors, and delivers a significantly lower oxidation rate — resulting in a longer-lasting, more resilient disc.

• Custom Bell — machined from forged 6066-T6 aluminium and fabricated to your specified PCD and offset; PCD and offset are required at time of order
• Patented M8 Fastener Technology — larger M8 stainless A4-70 grade steel bolts (vs. the M6 bolts commonly used by competitors) for superior clamping integrity
• Two-piece floating disc design for improved thermal management and reduced warping
• T700-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre — dramatically more resistant to surface cracking and micro-fractures than T300-grade or chopped-fibre alternatives
• Approximately 40–50% lighter than an equivalent iron disc, significantly reducing rotating mass
• Discs can be resurfaced approximately 3–4 times over their lifespan, restoring them to as-new condition
• Higher coefficient of friction than iron discs, delivering enhanced stopping power in both wet and dry conditions
• Withstands extreme track temperatures without warping or deforming, virtually eliminating brake fade
• Designed using Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software, validated on an in-house Horiba Brake Dynamometer
• Compatible with OE Calipers, CTE Racing Calipers, and select aftermarket calipers; optimally suited for OEM/aftermarket 6-pot calipers and select 4-pot calipers (minimum 30mm OEM disc thickness)
• ECE R90 E11 certified brake pads available; choice of Street or Race pad compound
