CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-W213F Carbon Ceramic Matrix Brake Disc Kit Front

The CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-W213F is a front carbon ceramic matrix (CCM) brake disc kit engineered for high-performance and track-day applications. Designed as a direct upgrade over standard iron rotors, this kit delivers a significant improvement in braking performance, thermal resistance, and longevity. Note: Requires a 6-Pot (or compatible large-bore) caliper for proper fitment and effective operation.

Construction & Materials:

• Diamond-cut to exacting tolerances from T700-grade Continuous (Long) Carbon Fibre — significantly stronger than the T300-grade short-fibre used by most competitors
• Carbon/Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic matrix construction for exceptional heat tolerance and structural durability
• 2-piece floating disc design with bells machined from Forged 6066-T6 Aluminium
• Patented M8 Fastener Technology using Stainless A4-70 grade steel bolts for superior clamping integrity
• Non-surface-coated discs for genuine carbon-to-carbon disc/pad contact

Performance Advantages:

• Approximately 40–50% lighter than equivalent iron discs, reducing unsprung and rotating mass
• Withstands significantly higher temperatures than iron, greatly reducing the risk of brake fade under repeated hard braking
• Does not warp or deform at extreme track temperatures, eliminating uneven pad wear
• Higher coefficient of friction than iron discs, delivering stronger, more consistent stopping power
• Virtually no brake dust, and reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH)
• Service life exceeding 3x that of iron discs; discs can be resurfaced approximately 3–4 times over their lifespan

Compatibility & Requirements:

• Requires a 6-Pot caliper (OEM, CTE Racing, or select aftermarket) for correct pad contact area
• Compatible with OEM/Aftermarket 6-Pot calipers and select 4-Pot calipers (minimum 30mm OEM disc thickness)
• Must be used exclusively with CCB-friendly (Carbon Ceramic-compatible) brake pads
• Designed using Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software; validated on CTE's in-house Link & Horiba brake dynamometers
