CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-W205AR Carbon Ceramic Brake Discs Rear OE CCB Replacement

The CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-W205AR is a rear-axle carbon ceramic brake disc set engineered as a direct OE CCB (Carbon Ceramic Brake) replacement. Built using premium T700s-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre sourced from Toray Japan, these discs deliver exceptional thermal resistance and braking performance for high-performance street and track applications.

CTE Carbon employs a two-piece floating disc design, pairing a carbon ceramic matrix rotor core with a bell machined from forged 6066-T6 aluminium — a stronger alloy than the 6061-T6 used by most competitors. The discs are diamond-cut to exacting tolerances and validated through dynamic test simulations on CTE's in-house Horiba brake dynamometer.

Key Features:

• Manufactured from T700s-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre imported from Toray Japan
• Two-piece floating brake disc construction
• Bell machined from forged 6066-T6 aluminium for superior strength
• Patented fastener mechanism using M8 bolts forged from Stainless A4-70 grade steel
• Diamond-cut to exacting tolerances using Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software
• Validated on in-house Horiba brake dynamometer under dynamic test simulations
• Compatible with OE calipers, CTE Racing calipers, and select aftermarket calipers
• Dramatically reduced brake dust compared to iron disc systems
• Resurfaceable approximately 3–4 times over the disc's lifespan
• Approximately 40–50% lighter than equivalent iron brake discs, reducing rotating mass
• 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

Important: Carbon ceramic brake discs are only compatible with CCB-friendly (carbon ceramic) brake pads. Verify pad compatibility with your existing calipers prior to ordering. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
