CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-R8AR Carbon Ceramic Matrix Brake Disc Kit Rear

The CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-R8AR is a rear Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake disc kit engineered as a direct OE-replacement upgrade for the Audi R8 (4S, 2015+). Designed to bolt onto factory OE calipers without modification, this kit delivers a dramatic improvement in braking performance over standard iron brake discs across the full operating temperature range.

CTE Carbon Composites manufactures these discs from T700-Grade Continuous (Long) Carbon Fibre, diamond-cut to exacting tolerances in a 1-piece solid 3D matrix with a 2-piece floating disc design. T700-grade fibre offers approximately 40% greater tensile strength than the T300-grade material commonly used by competing manufacturers. The disc bells are precision-machined from forged 6066-T6 aluminium and secured via a patented fastener mechanism using oversized M8 stainless A4-70 grade steel bolts for superior clamping integrity.

Carbon ceramic brakes resist warping and deformation at extreme track temperatures, eliminate the uneven pad wear associated with iron disc systems, and provide a significantly longer service life.
