The CTE Carbon CTE-CCK-G8XR is an OE Carbon Ceramic Brake (CCB) replacement kit engineered to directly replace factory-fitted carbon ceramic brake discs. Developed by CTE Carbon Composites — an OE supplier to major European brake manufacturers — this kit delivers superior carbon ceramic braking performance for high-performance and track-driven applications.

Unlike OEM and competing carbon ceramic discs that use T300-grade chopped (short) carbon fibre, CTE manufactures their discs from T700-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre woven into a solid 1-piece 3D matrix. T700 grade offers approximately 40% greater tensile strength than the T300 grade used by most competitors, resulting in a more durable disc that is far less prone to the cracking and premature wear associated with conventional CCB technology.

CTE Carbon's carbon ceramic discs are produced using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Ceramic (CFRC) technology, transforming Carbon/Carbon into Carbon/Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic through a proprietary Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) manufacturing process — the same technology developed for their OE aerospace and automotive clientele. This kit is intended for race use and is backed by a limited 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship upon receipt and professional installation.
