The CTE Carbon CTE-CCD-40036 is a high-performance Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake disc offered in the disc-only configuration — without bell — and supplied complete with CTE's patented M8 fastener hardware kit and a technical installation diagram. This configuration is designed for customers who are sourcing or retaining their own bell hub, allowing precise fitment to a custom or existing bell assembly.

Patented M8 Fastener Technology:

• Includes CTE's proprietary fastener kit consisting of M8 bolts forged from Stainless A4-70 grade steel — larger and stronger than the M5 or M6 fasteners used by competing brands
• Technical diagram included to guide correct disc and fastener assembly

Carbon Ceramic Disc Construction:

• Non surface-coated disc providing genuine carbon-to-carbon contact between disc and pad — unlike inferior discs with a ceramic outer surface layer that offer minimal performance benefit over iron
• Validated on CTE's in-house Link and Horiba Brake Dynamometers under dynamic test simulations to ensure optimum performance across all operating conditions
• Disc can be resurfaced approximately 3–4 times over its lifespan, effectively restoring it to as-new condition each time

Compatibility and Usage Notes:

• Designed for use with OE calipers, CTE Racing calipers, and select aftermarket calipers
• Most effective with large racing calipers — typically all OEM/aftermarket 6-pot calipers and select 4-pot calipers with a minimum 30mm OEM disc thickness
• Must be used exclusively with CCB-friendly (Carbon Ceramic-compatible) brake pads — standard iron-disc pads are not compatible
• CTE is the only brake manufacturer actively pursuing TÜV certification for carbon ceramic brake discs
