CTE Carbon CTE-CCD-40030 Carbon Ceramic Brake Disc Without Bell with Fasteners

The CTE Carbon CTE-CCD-40030 is a disc-only Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake disc supplied without a bell hub, and includes CTE's patented M8 fastener hardware kit and a technical diagram for installation. This configuration is designed for customers who are retaining or sourcing their own custom bell, allowing direct mounting of the CCM disc using the included fastener set.

CTE's carbon ceramic discs are diamond-cut to exacting tolerances from T700s-grade continuous (long) carbon fibre imported from Toray, Japan — a significantly stronger material than the T300-grade chopped carbon fibre used in most competing and OEM carbon ceramic brake products. The discs are manufactured from a fully three-dimensional Carbon Fibre Reinforced Ceramic (CFRC) matrix using a proprietary Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) and siliconization process, converting Carbon/Carbon material into Carbon/Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) for superior thermal performance and durability.

Carbon ceramic brake discs are compatible with large-bore racing calipers, including all OEM and aftermarket 6-piston calipers, and select 4-piston calipers with a minimum 30mm OEM disc thickness. Carbon ceramic brake pads are required — standard iron-disc pads are not compatible. This disc is suited for high-performance street and track applications where reduced rotating mass, improved fade resistance, and superior thermal stability are priorities.
