Wells 6P1418 PCV Valve Positive Crankcase Ventilation Replacement

The Wells 6P1418 is a direct-replacement Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve engineered for reliable crankcase pressure management. A PCV valve is a one-way valve that routes combustion blow-by gases from the engine crankcase back into the intake manifold to be burned, preventing harmful emissions and protecting the engine from internal pressure buildup.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Helps prevent oil leaks and sludge buildup by maintaining proper crankcase ventilation
• Direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation
• Reduces blow-by gases to support emissions system efficiency
• Built for maximum reliability and long service life

The PCV valve is a maintenance item that should be inspected and replaced at regular service intervals. Neglecting a worn PCV valve can lead to poor idle quality, reduced fuel economy, oil leaks, and illumination of the Check Engine light. The Wells 6P1418 restores proper crankcase ventilation and helps protect engine internals from the damaging effects of sludge and moisture accumulation.
