Amana-Goodman PTPWHWK4 Armored Hard-Wire Kit for PTAC Units All Voltages

The Amana-Goodman PTPWHWK4 Armored Hard-Wire Kit is the OEM-approved solution for permanently wiring an Amana PTAC unit directly to a building's electrical supply when a standard sub-base and power cord are not used. This hard-wire conduit kit provides a clean, code-compliant installation method and is required for all Amana 265-volt PTAC models when a sub-base is not installed.

Key Features:

• Armored hard-wire kit compatible with all voltages — 115V, 208/230V, and 265V
• Includes a junction box that provides a protected enclosure for electrical connections, as required by many local electrical codes
• Junction box can be mounted before or after the wall sleeve is installed, offering installation flexibility
• Includes 3½ feet of ½-inch flexible steel conduit for routing wiring to the unit chassis
• Includes a 90° conduit clamp for securing the conduit at the unit cabinet's electrical access opening
• Supports flush, surface, or recessed mounting per national or local electrical codes
• UL approved — required for UL compliance on all 265V Amana PTAC installations without a sub-base

This kit is an essential PTAC electrical accessory for new unit installations in commercial properties such as hotels, motels, and multi-unit buildings where direct hard-wiring is preferred or mandated. It is also sold as a genuine Amana/Goodman replacement accessory. Compatible with Amana PTC, PTH, and related PTAC series units.
