GPD 1911178 Suspension Ride Height Sensor

The GPD 1911178 is a direct-fit replacement suspension ride height sensor engineered to restore proper function to active and air suspension systems. Manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), this ride height sensor — also commonly referred to as a ride sensor, suspension height sensor, or leveling sensor — is designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a precise, reliable fit.

Ride height sensors continuously monitor the distance between the vehicle's body and the road surface. This data is relayed to the suspension control module, which uses it to automatically adjust air spring inflation or deflation at each corner of the vehicle, maintaining a consistent and safe ride height under varying load conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — designed to match factory fit, form, and function
• Monitors vehicle body-to-road height for real-time suspension adjustment
• Compatible with active and air suspension systems
• Plug-and-play connector for straightforward installation
• Built to withstand the continuous cycling demands of suspension operation
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted aftermarket supplier since 1974

A faulty ride height sensor can cause erratic suspension behavior, warning lights, and in severe cases, complete air suspension failure. Replacing a worn or failed sensor with the GPD 1911178 restores accurate height feedback to the suspension control module and returns the system to proper operation.
