Product Details

The Install Bay IB51036 is a sleeve of 16 rolls of tesa-branded OEM exterior wire harness tape, engineered to meet the demanding standards of professional automotive wiring installations. Measuring 3/4 inch (19mm) wide by 82 feet (25m) long per roll, this high-temperature cloth tape is trusted for under-hood, engine bay, and exterior harnessing applications.

Built on a durable PET cloth backing with a solvent-free AAA (Advanced Acrylic Adhesive) formula, the tesa 51036 is flag-resistant and bonds reliably to wiring harnesses even in the harshest environments. At 10.2 mils thick, it delivers the rigidity and protection required for OEM-grade installations.

Key Features:

  • High-temperature resistance: Rated up to 150°C (302°F) for 3,000 hours — suitable for engine bay and exterior routing
  • High abrasion resistance: PET cloth construction protects wire bundles from chafing and wear
  • AAA Acrylic Adhesive: Solvent-free, advanced acrylic formula for a strong, long-lasting bond
  • Flag-resistant: Tape edges stay secure and won't lift or unravel over time
  • Dimensions: 3/4 in (19mm) wide x 82 ft (25m) long per roll; 10.2 mil total thickness
  • Tensile strength: 157 lbs/in (275 N/cm)
  • Adhesion to steel: 45.7 oz/in (5 N/cm)
  • Temperature range: -40°F to 302°F (-40°C to 150°C)
  • Includes: Sleeve of 16 individual rolls

tesa harnessing tape products are manufactured to OEM standards and are trusted by automotive manufacturers worldwide for factory wiring harness assembly and repair. The IB51036 exterior grade is specifically designed for applications exposed to moisture, heat, and abrasion outside the passenger cabin.

Shipping took longer than expected as I paid for expedited shipping. I reached out to ask why it wasn't sent two day and got no reply. The customer service could really use improvement and this is reflected in multiple reviews. However, the products arrived safely and as described. I'm very satisfied with the pricing as well. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing.

Awesome

Ot arrive faster then expected.

GREAT

Quick and easy. I can't tell if the tire is New or how much gas life is on it of the tire is used. Pictures make it look like the tire does not have much, if any, wear.

225/50r16 Toyo Extensa HP II Tires ride smooth and quiet. Handle good in wet and dry conditions. Shipped them out fast. Great experience overall!
