Caliso 22060 Heavy Duty Thermal Engine Cooling Fan Clutch

The Caliso 22060 is a heavy duty thermal engine cooling fan clutch designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications. Thermal fan clutches use a temperature-sensitive bimetal coil spring and silicone fluid coupling to automatically modulate fan speed based on engine cooling demand, improving efficiency and reducing unnecessary engine load.

When hot air passes through the radiator, the bimetal spring expands and opens internal valve ports, allowing silicone fluid to flow into the drive area and engage the fan at higher speed. Once the engine cools, the spring contracts, closing the valve and reducing fan speed to minimize drag on the engine.

Key Features:

• Thermal engagement — fan speed automatically responds to underhood temperatures for optimal cooling
• Heavy duty construction — engineered for deep-pitch fan blades and higher operating RPM applications
• Clockwise rotation
• Includes fan mounting hardware for a complete installation

Replacing a worn or failed thermal fan clutch helps prevent engine overheating, excessive fan noise, reduced fuel economy, and loss of power. This unit is a direct-fit replacement engineered to restore proper cooling system performance.
