Product Details

The Caliso 22026 is a direct-fit replacement thermal engine cooling fan clutch designed to restore proper cooling system performance. This temperature-sensitive fan clutch automatically modulates engine fan speed in response to engine bay heat, improving fuel efficiency and reducing unnecessary load on the engine.

Thermal fan clutches use a bimetal coil spring mounted on the front face of the unit to sense air temperature flowing through the radiator. When temperatures rise, the spring expands and opens an internal valve, allowing silicone fluid to engage the clutch and spin the cooling fan at a higher speed. As temperatures drop, the valve closes and the fan slows, reducing drag and improving efficiency.

The whole experience was so much fun

I never received anything about shipping so I contacted customer support. They said it was a direct shipment and they would check on it for me and get back to me. I never heard back from them. Shortly after that I did receive a message from the carrier saying they have my shipment and scheduled a delivery. They said they would call me 30 mins before the delivery so I could get off work and come to inspect it before signing for it. That didnt' happen either my wife called me first thing in the morning and say they are here delivering it now so I had to run home so I could inspect it. The driver was really nice and waited for me to get there.
