Cali Raised LED CR4447 Tailgate Theft Protector for Toyota Tacoma

The Cali Raised LED CR4447 Tailgate Theft Protector is a vehicle-specific, bolt-on security upgrade engineered to defend one of the most frequently targeted components on any pickup truck. Securing the passenger-side tailgate hinge — the primary weak point exploited during tailgate theft — this protector makes quick, unauthorized removal significantly more difficult without affecting day-to-day tailgate operation.

Key Features:

• Targeted Hinge Protection: Physically blocks access to the passenger-side tailgate hinge, the most commonly exploited removal point used by thieves
• CNC-Cut Stainless Steel Construction: Precision-cut from raw stainless steel for maximum durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance in all weather and off-road environments
• Tamper-Resistant Security Hardware: Includes high-strength security screws and a proprietary installation bit designed to deter quick removal attempts
• No-Drill, Bolt-On Installation: Mounts directly to factory hinge mounting points in approximately 5–10 minutes with basic hand tools — no cutting, drilling, or permanent modification required
• Complete Kit Included: Comes with the theft protector bracket, 2 high-strength security screws, 1 security bit, and all necessary mounting hardware
• Full Tailgate Functionality Maintained: Designed to add security without interfering with normal tailgate open and close operation
• Made in the USA: Manufactured in Fort Worth, Texas, and backed by a limited lifetime warranty

Tailgates are among the easiest and most expensive truck components to steal. The CR4447 offers a practical, low-cost layer of added protection ideal for daily drivers, overlanders, off-roaders, and anyone who regularly hauls gear in the truck bed. Compatible with OEM tailgate handles across all trims.
