Product Details

The J.C. Whitney JM28230015 is a direct-fit OEM replacement lower front ball joint designed for Mercedes-Benz ML-Class and GLE-Class vehicles. This ball joint serves as an interchangeable fitment for both the driver and passenger sides, simplifying inventory and ensuring a precise, factory-quality replacement.

Ball joints are critical suspension components that connect the control arm to the steering knuckle, allowing smooth articulation and controlled wheel movement. Worn or failing ball joints can cause clunking noises, uneven tire wear, and compromised steering precision — making timely replacement essential for safe vehicle operation.

Key Features:

  • OEM replacement quality for reliable, long-lasting performance
  • Direct drop-in fitment — no modifications required
  • Interchangeable left and right side fitment (RH = LH)
  • Restores proper suspension geometry and steering response
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Front lower position for the ML-Class (2012–2015) and GLE-Class (2016–2019)

The J.C. Whitney JM28230015 ball joint is engineered to restore the handling characteristics and safety margins your Mercedes-Benz was designed to deliver, making it an ideal solution for mechanics and DIY enthusiasts alike.
