Spectra FI1620 Premium Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump

The Spectra Premium FI1620 is a direct injection high-pressure fuel pump engineered as a quality aftermarket replacement for Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) fuel systems. Designed to match OE fit, form, and function, this pump restores reliable fuel delivery to vehicles equipped with GDI technology.

How It Works:

Unlike traditional port-injection pumps, GDI high-pressure fuel pumps are mechanically driven by the camshaft and are responsible for pressurizing fuel before it enters the fuel rail. This pressurized delivery allows fuel to be injected directly into the combustion chamber for more precise combustion control, improved throttle response, and better overall efficiency.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction — designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Rigorous leak testing — every unit is tested to ensure consistent, reliable fuel delivery
• OE-style connectors — enables straightforward, plug-and-play installation
• Optimized for GDI systems — delivers reliable operating pressures from 30 to 250 bar (100–2,900 PSI) for stable combustion at both low and high engine speeds
• Advanced design — minimizes negative engine impacts, helps improve fuel economy, and reduces harmful emissions
• Premium materials — built to endure harsh underhood conditions for long service life

Replacing a worn or failing high-pressure fuel pump promptly helps prevent reduced fuel economy, poor injection timing, increased emissions, and potential downstream damage to the catalytic converter. The Spectra Premium FI1620 provides a dependable, cost-effective solution for restoring proper GDI fuel system operation.
