Auto Transmiss Parts CA-8701 Accelerator Cable

The Auto Transmiss Parts CA-8701 is a replacement accelerator cable designed to restore proper throttle response and transmission shift timing. This cable connects the accelerator pedal to the throttle body or carburetor, transmitting driver input directly to the engine and, in many automatic transmission applications, to the transmission's throttle valve (TV) for correct shift pressure and timing.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for OEM accelerator cable
• Constructed with a durable inner wire and protective outer housing for long service life
• Designed to maintain smooth, consistent throttle actuation
• Helps restore proper automatic transmission shift points when used as a TV/kickdown cable
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications

A worn or stretched accelerator cable can result in sluggish throttle response, erratic shifting, or a stuck throttle. Replacing the cable with a quality unit like the CA-8701 ensures safe, reliable operation and proper coordination between the engine and transmission.
