Mopar 56046115AE Air Bag Clockspring Spiral Cable Clock Spring

The Mopar 56046115AE is a genuine OEM replacement air bag clockspring (also known as a spiral cable or clock spring) designed to restore proper function to your steering wheel's electrical connections. This direct-fit Mopar part maintains the continuous electrical circuit between the stationary steering column wiring and the rotating steering wheel, ensuring reliable operation of the driver-side air bag, horn, and steering wheel-mounted controls.

Key Features:

• Genuine Mopar OEM replacement part — engineered to original factory specifications
• Maintains electrical continuity between the steering column and rotating steering wheel
• Critical safety component supporting proper air bag (SRS) system deployment
• Supports horn and steering wheel-mounted controls (cruise control, audio, etc.) where applicable
• Direct drop-in replacement — no modification required
• Meets all OEM fit, form, and function requirements

A faulty clockspring can result in an illuminated SRS/airbag warning light, non-functional horn, or inoperative steering wheel controls. Replacing with a genuine Mopar OEM clockspring ensures your vehicle's safety systems remain fully operational. Part number 56046115AE supersedes earlier revision levels in the same fitment range.
