Vitesco 5640002100 Direct Injection High-Pressure Fuel Pump

The Vitesco 5640002100 is a direct injection high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) engineered to deliver precise fuel pressure for gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines. Vitesco Technologies, formerly a division of Continental AG, is a globally recognized OEM supplier of powertrain and fuel system components trusted by major automotive manufacturers worldwide.

This high-pressure fuel pump works in conjunction with the low-pressure fuel supply system to pressurize fuel to the levels required by direct injection fuel injectors. Proper fuel pressure is critical for clean combustion, optimal engine performance, and fuel efficiency in modern GDI engines.

Key Features:

• OEM-quality construction to original equipment specifications
• Designed for gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel systems
• Engineered to maintain consistent high-pressure fuel delivery
• Manufactured by Vitesco Technologies, a leading OEM powertrain supplier
• Direct replacement for worn or failed high-pressure fuel pumps
• Supports proper fuel atomization for efficient combustion

Replacing a failing high-pressure fuel pump with a genuine Vitesco unit restores proper fuel system function, helping eliminate symptoms such as hard starting, rough idle, misfires, and reduced fuel economy commonly associated with HPFP failure in direct injection engines.
