Kolbenschmidt 50056153 Variable Timing Sprocket VCT Camshaft Sprocket

The Kolbenschmidt 50056153 is a direct-fit Variable Timing Sprocket engineered to OEM specifications by Kolbenschmidt (KS), one of Europe's most trusted manufacturers of precision engine components. This sprocket is a critical component of the engine's Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) system, working in conjunction with the cam phaser and timing chain to optimize valve timing across varying engine speeds and loads.

Kolbenschmidt's variable timing sprockets are manufactured to strict tolerances, ensuring precise engagement with the timing chain and reliable communication with the engine's oil pressure-actuated VCT mechanism. Proper function of this sprocket is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions compliance.

Key Features:

• OEM-equivalent design and dimensional accuracy for a precise drop-in fit
• Manufactured by Kolbenschmidt (KS), a globally recognized OEM-grade engine components supplier
• Engineered for use in variable valve timing (VVT/VCT) systems
• High-strength construction for durability under continuous oil pressure and thermal cycling
• Restores proper camshaft timing function, helping resolve rough idle, poor fuel economy, and timing-related fault codes
