Genuine FD0418516 Front Automatic Locking Hub Ford Super Duty 4WD

The Genuine FD0418516 is an OEM front automatic locking hub designed as a direct factory replacement for 4WD Ford Super Duty trucks. Built to the same specifications as the original equipment, this hub restores proper operation of your front 4-wheel drive engagement system with a guaranteed precise fit and reliable function.

Ford Super Duty locking hubs use a vacuum-actuated system that automatically engages the front axles when 4WD is selected, while also offering a manual LOCK position as a backup if the automatic system fails. Worn or seized hubs are a common failure point on Super Duty trucks, and replacing them with a genuine OEM unit is the most reliable way to restore full 4WD capability.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Ford part — exact factory replacement, not aftermarket
• Automatic engagement via vacuum-actuated system with manual LOCK override
• Direct bolt-on installation — no modifications or special tools required
• Designed for front axle fitment on 4WD Super Duty trucks
• Sold individually — quantity of two required per vehicle
• Maintains factory drivetrain specifications and performance

This locking hub is sold as a single unit. Two hubs are required for a complete axle replacement. OEM part number: FD0418516.
