Febi 196217 Shock Absorber Mount Strut Top Mounting

The Febi Bilstein 196217 is a replacement shock absorber mount (strut top mounting) engineered to OE-matching quality standards. This mounting serves as the critical connection point between the shock absorber or suspension strut and the vehicle's chassis, isolating road vibration and impact forces before they reach the body.

Febi Bilstein manufactures this mount using rubber-to-metal bonded construction, with elastomeric materials precisely matched to the technical requirements and load demands of the specific fitting position. The rubber compound absorbs and dampens vibrations and harshness transmitted through the suspension, contributing to ride comfort and reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) inside the cabin.

Key Features:

• OE-matching quality construction for direct-fit replacement
• Rubber-to-metal bonded design for effective vibration isolation
• Restores proper suspension geometry and damper function
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Backed by Febi Bilstein's 3-year manufacturer's guarantee
• Part of Febi's extensive suspension and NVH replacement range

Replacing a worn or damaged shock mount eliminates clunking noises, excessive vibration transfer, and improper strut alignment. The Febi Bilstein 196217 provides a reliable, long-lasting solution using the same engineering standards as the original part.
