Motorcraft YH-2909 Blower Motor Resistor

The Motorcraft YH-2909 is a direct-fit OEM replacement blower motor resistor designed to restore proper operation of your vehicle's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. As a genuine Ford Motor Company part, it meets the same exacting tolerances and quality standards as the original component installed at the factory.

The blower motor resistor controls the speed of the blower motor fan by regulating the electrical current supplied to it. A failed resistor typically results in the blower fan operating only at certain speeds—or not at all—causing loss of airflow through the cabin vents. Replacing it with the Motorcraft YH-2909 restores full multi-speed fan functionality.

Key Features:

• Genuine Motorcraft OEM replacement part — engineered by Ford Motor Company
• Direct, plug-and-play fitment with no modification required
• Restores proper blower motor fan speed control across all settings

Motorcraft is the genuine parts brand of Ford Motor Company, making the YH-2909 the recommended replacement for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles that originally used this resistor. Consult your vehicle's fitment guide to confirm compatibility before installation.
