Wells 5S16519 Throttle Position Sensor

The Wells 5S16519 is a direct-fit throttle position sensor (TPS) designed to restore precise throttle input signaling to your engine control module (ECM). The throttle position sensor monitors the angle of the throttle plate and relays real-time data to the powertrain control module, enabling accurate fuel delivery, ignition timing, and transmission shift points.

Wells Vehicle Electronics manufactures this sensor to meet or exceed OEM specifications, ensuring a reliable, plug-and-play replacement with no modification required. A failing throttle position sensor can cause symptoms such as rough idle, hesitation during acceleration, poor fuel economy, and illuminated check engine lights — making timely replacement critical to drivability and emissions performance.
