BBP 17185K Drum Brake Hardware Kit

The BBP 17185K is a drum brake hardware kit from Better Brake Parts (BBP), a family-owned brake hardware specialist founded in 1981 and dedicated exclusively to supplying the automotive aftermarket with precision brake components. Designed to replace worn, corroded, or fatigued hardware during a drum brake service, this kit provides the essential components needed to restore proper brake shoe operation and braking performance.

Drum brake hardware is subject to significant stress with every brake application. Over time, return springs lose tension, retainers corrode, and adjusting hardware wears, leading to brake noise, shoe drag, uneven wear, or reduced stopping effectiveness. Replacing the hardware at the time of a brake shoe service is considered best practice to ensure the full system performs as designed.

Key Features:

• Complete hardware kit engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit and function
• Includes return springs, hold-down springs, retainers, and related mounting hardware
• Manufactured by BBP, a brake hardware specialist with decades of focus on precision brake components

The BBP 17185K is a reliable solution for professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts performing a complete drum brake service, ensuring the new brake shoes are supported by fresh, properly functioning hardware.
