SP Performance T52-440-R Slotted Brake Rotor

The SP Performance T52-440-R is a high-performance slotted brake rotor designed to deliver superior stopping power with enhanced heat dissipation. Featuring directional angled slots machined into the rotor surface, this rotor effectively expels brake dust, gases, and moisture away from the braking surface to maintain consistent pad contact and reduce brake fade.

Key Features:

• Directional slotted design increases pad bite and improves air circulation for better cooling
• Mini half-slots help balance and stabilize friction levels while optimizing pad contact
• Machine balanced and disc ground to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Direct replacement for factory rotors with no brake system modifications required
• Corrosion-resistant coating provides protection against rust and oxidation
• Manufactured in the USA by SP Performance employees
• Ideal for heavy vehicles and high-heat braking situations

Slotted rotors work by allowing gases created during heavy braking to escape, preventing gas buildup between the pad and rotor surfaces. This maintains solid pad-to-rotor contact and helps eliminate brake fade. The slots also prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions by channeling water away from the braking surface, improving safety and reducing stopping distances. SP Performance rotors are warranted against defects in workmanship and guaranteed not to crack for the life of the rotor.
