Allmakes ERR6898D Serpentine Drive Belt for Land Rover Discovery 2

The Allmakes ERR6898D is a high-quality polyvee serpentine drive belt designed for Land Rover Discovery Series II vehicles equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 EFI petrol engine, model years 1999 to 2004. This belt is specifically engineered for vehicles with air conditioning but without the ACE (Active Cornering Enhancement) system.

Key Features:

• OEM-quality construction manufactured by Dayco to original equipment specifications
• 7PK2345 belt designation ensures proper fit and performance
• Drives critical engine accessories including the alternator, water pump, and air conditioning compressor
• Designed for Discovery Series II models without ACE system (vehicles with ACE require different belt part number ERR6896)
• Direct replacement for OEM part numbers ERR6898 and ERR6898D

Regular serpentine belt inspection and replacement is essential for reliable vehicle operation, as a failed belt can disable multiple engine systems simultaneously. Land Rover recommends replacement every 45,000 miles or at the first sign of wear, cracking, or glazing. To determine if your Discovery Series II has ACE, check the power steering fluid reservoir—if it has two caps, your vehicle is ACE-equipped and requires a different belt.
