GKN Drivetech 6R0 498 203 CV Axle Boot Kit Front Outer

The GKN Drivetech 6R0 498 203 is a front outer CV axle boot kit engineered to OEM specifications for Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. GKN, the original equipment supplier of driveshaft components to major European automakers, manufactures this kit to match the precise geometry and material standards of the factory boot it replaces.

The constant velocity (CV) boot is a critical driveline sealing component. It retains the grease that lubricates the CV joint while keeping out road contaminants such as dirt, water, and debris. A torn or cracked boot allows grease to escape and accelerates CV joint wear, often leading to costly axle replacement if not addressed promptly.

Key Features:

• OEM-quality replacement CV axle boot kit from GKN Drivetech (GKN Loebro)
• Designed and manufactured to match original equipment specifications for precise fit
• Protects the CV joint by sealing in lubricating grease and keeping contaminants out
• Constructed from high-stretch, durable thermoplastic material engineered to withstand constant articulation
• Includes boot, clamps, and grease required to complete the repair
• Direct OEM cross-reference: Volkswagen part number 6R0-498-203

GKN is a globally recognized leader in driveshaft and constant velocity joint technology, supplying OE drivetrains to automotive manufacturers worldwide. Replacing a damaged CV boot with a GKN kit helps restore proper joint protection and extends axle service life.
