NTP YR106 Distributor Rotor

The NTP YR106 is a replacement distributor rotor designed to restore proper ignition system performance in vehicles equipped with distributor-based ignition systems. This essential ignition component is housed inside the distributor cap and mounted on top of the distributor shaft, where it plays a critical role in directing high-voltage current from the ignition coil to the spark plugs.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement distributor rotor for reliable ignition performance
• Precision-engineered to ensure proper contact with distributor cap terminals
• Durable construction designed to withstand high temperatures and voltage
• Metal contact points provide optimal electrical conductivity
• Easy installation as part of routine ignition system maintenance

As the distributor rotor rotates, it makes sequential contact with the spark plug wire terminals on the underside of the distributor cap, allowing voltage to flow to each cylinder at the correct firing order. Regular replacement of the distributor rotor helps prevent misfires, starting problems, and poor engine performance caused by worn or damaged rotor contacts. This component is typically replaced during tune-ups or when ignition system issues arise.
