Danfoss 067N2154 Thermostatic Expansion Valve TXV 1/2"x7/8" R22/R407C 6 Ton

The Danfoss 067N2154 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for medium to large commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This valve regulates refrigerant flow to maintain optimal evaporator performance and system efficiency in 6-ton capacity applications.

Key Specifications:

• Inlet connection: 1/2" ODF (sweat)
• Outlet connection: 7/8" ODF (sweat)
• Refrigerant compatibility: R22 and R407C
• Capacity rating: 6 tons of refrigeration
• Brass body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Adjustable superheat setting for precise system tuning

Features and Benefits:

• Maintains constant superheat across varying load conditions
• Prevents liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, protecting against damage
• Internal or external equalizer configuration for flexible installation
• Compatible with both R22 (legacy) and R407C (replacement) refrigerants
• Precision-engineered metering for optimal energy efficiency

This TXV is ideal for retrofits converting from R22 to R407C, as well as new installations requiring reliable refrigerant flow control. The valve includes a sensing bulb and capillary tube for accurate temperature monitoring at the evaporator outlet. Proper installation requires brazing connections and correct superheat adjustment according to manufacturer specifications.
