3M 7000119817 Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 36mm x 55m Yellow

3M Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 388N is a yellow crepe-paper tape designed specifically for the critical paint masking processes used in the collision repair industry. It features a rubber-based adhesive and flexible crepe-paper construction for excellent conformability and adhesion.

Key Features:

• Proprietary rubber-based adhesive sticks and stays instantly on moldings, plastic, glass, metal, rubber and painted surfaces
• Crepe-paper backing offers good conformability, allowing you to stretch and manipulate the tape to fit curves and contours without tearing while producing sharp, clean paint lines
• Resists temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) for up to 30 minutes, making it suitable for most body shop bake cycles
• Specially-treated for solvent and moisture resistance which minimizes bleed through from waterborne and solvent-based paints
• Removes cleanly and easily in one piece, leaving behind no adhesive residue
• Bright yellow color improves visibility to help with the masking process

Each roll measures 36mm (1.42 inches) wide by 55 meters long with a 6.3 mil thick crepe paper backing. This tape bends and stretches to follow curved body lines with no edge lifting, making it ideal for automotive refinishing and general purpose masking applications.
