Wells 4B1777 Vapor Canister EVAP System Component

The Wells 4B1777 Vapor Canister is a critical component of the vehicle's evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system. This canister stores and contains harmful fuel vapors from the fuel system, preventing them from being released into the atmosphere where they would contribute to air pollution and environmental damage.

Key Features:

• Contains activated charcoal that adsorbs and stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications in form, fit, and function
• Designed for reliable performance in both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Helps prevent excessive fuel consumption and failed emissions tests
• Works with the purge valve to route stored vapors back to the engine for combustion

When the vapor canister fails, vehicles may experience symptoms including illuminated check engine lights, failed emissions testing, excessive fuel consumption, or strong fuel odors. The Wells 4B1777 provides a direct replacement solution that restores proper EVAP system function and ensures compliance with emissions regulations.
