Product Details

The Gates PV424 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a critical component of your vehicle's Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. This 2-terminal solenoid valve precisely controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold, preventing harmful gasoline fumes from escaping into the atmosphere while optimizing fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from high-quality materials for maximum durability and extended service life
  • Precisely controls the amount of fuel vapor purged from the charcoal canister
  • Resistant to fuel vapors and harsh under-hood conditions
  • Designed to restore proper EVAP system operation and performance
  • Direct-fit replacement for easy installation

When the purge solenoid fails, it can trigger check engine lights, cause rough idle conditions, or create difficulty starting after refueling. Replacing a faulty purge solenoid with the Gates PV424 effectively restores your emission control system to proper working order, helping your vehicle pass emissions testing and maintain optimal performance.

Thank you. You are cheaper than West Marine Pro, (although I have to pay shipping,) and faster than Amazon. My poor planning of immediate boat projects, and your products and ease of ordering and two day delivery work well.
