Product Details

The Wells 4D1012 Distributor Cap Cover is a direct-fit protective dust and moisture shield designed to fit over the distributor cap assembly. This replacement cover helps safeguard the distributor cap and its internal contacts from contamination by dirt, debris, oil vapor, and moisture — common causes of ignition misfires and premature distributor cap failure.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE-replacement fit — designed to match original equipment form, fit, and function
  • Shields the distributor cap from moisture, dust, and engine bay debris
  • Helps extend the service life of the underlying distributor cap and rotor
  • Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a leading supplier of engine management and ignition components
  • Easy drop-in installation with no modification required

Wells Vehicle Electronics engineers each component to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring reliable performance and long service life. The 4D1012 distributor cap cover is an essential part of a complete distributor service and is ideal for preventive maintenance or direct replacement of a cracked or damaged original cover.
