Product Details

The Standard Motor Products S653 is a direct-replacement ignition coil connector pigtail and socket designed to restore a damaged or corroded wiring connection at the ignition coil. This plug-and-play pigtail eliminates the need to replace an entire wiring harness, offering a cost-effective solution for restoring proper electrical contact to the ignition system.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE-replacement connector pigtail for a precise, vehicle-specific fit
  • Terminals constructed from high-grade materials including copper alloy for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance
  • Polyamide resin housing engineered for prolonged performance in high-heat, high-vibration underhood environments
  • 100% tested for proper mechanical and electrical fit, form, and function
  • Restores a reliable, secure connection to the ignition coil without full harness replacement

Standard Motor Products is a leading independent supplier to the automotive aftermarket with decades of ignition system expertise. The S653 pigtail/socket is built to meet OE specifications, ensuring the ignition system performs as intended and helping prevent misfires and related drivability issues caused by faulty electrical connections.
