Product Details

The Standard Motor Products RU491 is a direct-fit replacement blower motor resistor designed to restore variable speed control to your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. This precision-engineered component controls the electrical current flowing from the fan switch to the blower motor, allowing you to adjust fan speeds for optimal comfort.

Key Features:

 • Premium copper electrical connectors ensure precise resistance values for improved performance and extended service life
 • High-quality ceramic construction withstands the high current demands of modern HVAC systems
 • Engineered for seamless integration with your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system
 • Direct-fit OEM replacement restores proper blower motor operation across all speed settings
 • Manufactured by Standard Motor Products, a leading supplier of quality automotive aftermarket components

This resistor is specifically designed for select Dodge and Mitsubishi applications. A faulty blower motor resistor typically causes the blower to only work on high speed or lose certain speed settings entirely. Replacing a failed resistor with the RU491 restores full functionality to your climate control system, ensuring passenger comfort in all weather conditions.

This was my first time. The seller keeps his promise. Delivery is really quick.

Very easy and free shipping was nice, I enjoy that the checkout process was simple

great pricing and received my purchase quickly. the box was a bit torn up, but the contents were fine.

easy and fast shopping.

Lowest price I can find! Sent tracking number via FedEx without trouble! Would recommend!

I'm a stickler for finding the best prices on my purchases, while also making sure that the products I buy are legit and not some cheapo knock-offs.
I did my homework on the Clutch Stage 2 kit I wanted for my Spec V and found that Autoplicity had the best price anywhere, even a spot where I had 10% off came out to be more expensive.

I received my Clutch Stage 2 clutch kit pretty quickly (about 1 week) and everything was as expected.

Overall I would rate Autoplicity a perfect 10, although I did not have to contact their customer service or initiate a return, so the '10' would be on product selection, communication, website experience, and overall feeling that I got the best deal out there.

Thanks!

Great Price and fast ordering

Great website and the ordering was easy too. I like the way they show the full price including shipping and tax. Got the confirmation immediately and the shipment notification the next business day.
