Product Details

The Diode Dynamics DD7926 HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Light Kit is a purpose-built lighting upgrade designed to mount an SSC1 or C1R LED pod into any 2-inch or 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver. This kit delivers a significant boost in rear visibility by adding a high-powered reverse light, an additional running light, and an optional 4th brake light function — all without custom wiring or complex installation.

Key Features:

  • Compatible with SSC1 and C1R Stage Series LED pods
  • Fits standard 2-inch and 2.5-inch trailer hitch receivers
  • Adds a powerful reverse light for improved nighttime backing visibility
  • Includes an additional running light function
  • Optional 4th brake light with SafetyStrobe brake light strobing (C1R option)
  • Connects directly to factory trailer hitch wiring — no custom wiring required
  • Quick, approximately 5-minute installation using included snap-fit or locking trailer pins
  • Engineered and assembled in the USA

The included wiring harness interfaces with your vehicle's existing factory trailer hitch connector for seamless, everyday operation. The Diode Dynamics HitchMount kit is ideal for truck and SUV owners who need dependable rear illumination when towing, hauling, or navigating in low-light conditions. Backed by Diode Dynamics' Lifetime Limited Warranty on select products.

Simple quick and easy

The item I bought was one to replace something I thought I had accidentally thrown away. A couple days after the boatplicity item arrived I located the like item I already had. I initiated the return process with boatplicity, as I no longer had need of the item. I completed the return request stuff and it said I would be contacted to continue the process but no one has contacted me.

The expierience has been great, would purchase from them again.

Very quick turnaround with best online price. Would highly recommend!
