The Quality-Built BC183309 is a remanufactured disc brake caliper. The caliper is the part of a disc brake system that holds the brake pads. When you press the brake pedal, hydraulic pressure makes the caliper squeeze the pads against the rotor. That friction slows and stops the vehicle.
