Keystone SU1237100 Hood Lift Support Strut - Driver Side Left

The Keystone SU1237100 is an OEM-replacement driver side (left) front hood lift support strut, also known as a hood stay. It is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the factory unit, restoring proper hood operation with no modifications required.

How It Works:

A hood lift support is a pressurized rod-and-cylinder gas strut that extends under load to support the full weight of the vehicle's hood, holding it securely open while you work in the engine compartment. Over time, these struts lose gas pressure and fail to hold the hood up reliably — a worn strut can cause the hood to fall unexpectedly and poses a safety hazard to anyone working under it.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM Replacement — engineered to match original factory fit, form, and function
