Product Details

The J.C. Whitney TD84090001 is an OEM replacement front sway bar link bushing designed for rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Dodge Dakota and Dodge Durango trucks and SUVs. This bushing connects the front stabilizer bar to the suspension linkage, playing a key role in maintaining proper handling, minimizing body roll, and keeping all four wheels in balanced contact with the road surface.

Worn or deteriorated sway bar link bushings are a common cause of clunking noises, steering wander, and unstable handling — particularly noticeable over bumps or during cornering. Replacing them with a properly fitted OEM-spec bushing restores the original suspension geometry and ride quality.

Key Features:

  • OEM replacement specification for precise fit and function
  • Front suspension position, rear-wheel drive (RWD) models only
  • Restores factory-level stabilizer bar performance
  • Helps eliminate clunking, rattling, and body roll caused by worn bushings
  • Direct bolt-on installation — no modifications required

This is a straightforward DIY-friendly replacement that can typically be completed with basic hand tools. Confirm your vehicle's drivetrain configuration (RWD) before ordering, as this part is not designed for 4WD/AWD variants.

I found the product I wanted, and the order was easy to complete. All info was clear and precise, so did not have to speak with anyone! Acknowledgement of the order was prompt and was filled and shipped almost immediately. Packaged well and received within a few days. I certainly will consider the seller should the time arise in the future.

We found a tire here that was hard to find and it was shipped quickly. Great experience and would use this company again.
